Governor Adams Oshiomhole has being saying for sometime to who ever will listen that his life is in danger. Last week after a fatal accident which claimed the lives of 3 journalist in his convoy, he stated that it was a blatant attempt on his life and that he had been receiving messages that officials of his government were targets of assassins and kidnappers before the tragic incident. He said “If I was in the regular jeep (my official car), the guy would have hit me. I was in a small car which I decided to drive myself. The tipper pushed that jeep off the road and then crashed into the bus conveying the journalists.
Now, it appears that his personal secretary, Oyerinde Olaitan, was shot dead in the early hours of this morning at his home. His family believe it was an assassination and not robbers.
