So, the Nambian football association President, John Muinjo reportedly offered Nigeria a place to stage their World Cup qualifier against the Brave Warriors based on reports of "war" in Nigeria.
You see, the rest of the world sees Nigeria as a country in the middle of a war (or at least in big trouble) !!! A place where security cannot be guaranteed and for some reason the authorities seem to down play the situation.....why ? Seriously, lets be truthful to ourselves, If an international team comes to Nigeria to play, can their security be guaranteed? .....can the security of any one in Nigeria be guaranteed??

NAMIBIA Football Association president John Muinjo reportedly offered Nigeria to stage both legs of their World Cup qualifier against the Brave Warriors in Windhoek but was turned down.
According to Nigerian media, Muinjo, who was in Cairo last week for the Fifa Workshop for Elite Match Commissioners, made the offer based on reports of "war" in Nigeria.
However he was informed by Confederation of African Football Committee member Paul Bassey that the Nigeria Football Federation had no intention of hosting both games in Namibia.
According to Bassey, Muinjo and his right hand man Barry Rukoro approached him to find out where their June 1 - clash - which is Nigeria's home game - will be staged.
Namibia host Nigeria on June 15 just after another tie against Kenya on June 8 in Windhoek.
"It will not be a bad thing to play both legs in Windhoek you know? Even CAF is aware that there is a problem in Nigeria and either we just play one leg, or we offer you another venue," Muinjo is quoted as saying by the vanguard nigeria website.
"I educated Mr Muinjo. That there was no war in Nigeria, that as I was talking to him, three of Nigeria's Clubs were involved in Continental competitions and they were using three different venues, so there was no cause for alarm as teams have come in and departed without any cause for concern," said Bassey.Bassey said the NFF were in the process of selecting a venue for the meeting with the Brave Warriors.
"I met news of the NFF contemplating whether to use Kaduna or Abuja, I heard about inspection visits to Ibadan and Calabar and also read how the chairman of the security sub committee of the NFF Chief Effiong Johnson has categorically concluded that the match will not hold in Kaduna."
